Each year, the SCGS Alumni interviews the nominees for the Edusave Character Awards. The Edusave Character Award (ECHA) was introduced in 2012 by the Ministry of Education to recognise students who have demonstrated exemplary character and outstanding personal qualities through their daily behaviour.
Values education and character building are a big part of the SCGS ethos, playing an important role in each Kimgek’s journey in the school.
The ECHA emphasizes the demonstration and display of the school’s values, a high level of civic mindedness and is a role model for others. All the interviewers were deeply inspired and impressed by the Kimgeks we met. They truly imbue the school’s values of Sincerty, Courage, Generosity and Service. Well done girls!
