The school graduated the Kimgeks from the Class of 2019 on the 18th November 2019. The guest of honour for the event was the inimitable Mrs Tan Shook Wah, a former career civil servant turned technopreneur who launched a scholarship for special needs students. The SCGS alumni was represented by Mrs Linda Poon. The event was made a little more special as accompanying it, was small but significant ceremony: the replanting of a nutmeg tree removed before the school started our extensive renovations.
Former SCGS principal, Ms Rosalind Heng was the Guest of Honor for the event. In attendance was also SCGS Board member, Mr John Tan, the man behind much of SCGS’s spice garden.
